Advice-as-a-Service platform Anni raises A$1 million in seed funding
Anni, a revolutionary Advice-as-a-Service platform dedicated to connecting people with health, wellness and wellbeing Experts, announces it has secured A$1 million in seed funding.
Secured privately via a mix of high net worth individuals and family funds, the funds will allow Anni to continue building upon its category defining Advice-as-a-Service (AaaS) proposition. In preparation for marketplace expansion and scale for online video consults, digital goods and distributed cross-platform on-demand advice, Anni intends to supercharge its platform technology capabilities.
The Australian founded and developed platform was designed to harness the power of technology to foster meaningful connections and empower professionals with the opportunity to share their expertise and knowledge in a simple, intuitive way.
“Australians are languishing on specialist waiting lists for months or years waiting for appointments, a problem we know is significantly compounded in regional areas where access and availability is localised. We’re proud to be a driving force behind positive change by offering affordable, personalised and trusted human-to-human advice when people need it most,” says Diranne Lee-Renwick, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Anni.
With nearly three decades of engineering technology and software product design experience, Diranne was a founding partner in the Harvest Technology Group in 2019 which grew to a global technology organisation with a A$220+ million market cap in 2021 and was Winner for Technology Innovation during the 2020 Australian Business Awards.
Anni’s founding partners – composed of Diranne Lee-Renwick, Anna Lee-Renwick and Timothy Smith – boast an extensive background in engineering, trading and market-making platforms, product development, architecting business digitisation and launching disruptive software products globally.
“Anni’s early success is a testament to the combined expertise of our founding partners, whose diverse backgrounds have propelled us to secure this significant seed funding. With our deep understanding of technology and a commitment to fostering meaningful human connections, we’re revolutionising access to specialist advice in Australia and, ultimately, globally,” continued Diranne Lee-Renwick.
Launched in October 2023, Anni has already revolutionised the way Aussies receive advice, boasting over 250 Experts on the platform with over 16,000 hours of availability per week.
Anni Experts set their own rate and schedule to suit their availability, and are connected with new and existing clients and customers through Anni, delivering paid personalised video micro-consults. In the near future, Experts can offer digital goods and distributed on-demand advice.
