Zeligate launches instant AI workforce as it finalises third Seed Round ahead of Series A

Zeligate, an Australian Artificial Intelligence (AI) startup company, today announced the launch of its AI workforce, known as ‘Zelis’.

The company, which previously secured $3 million in seed funding from a number of private high net worth investors, is finalising a smaller $2.5 million second seed round ahead of a planned Series A in early 2025.

According to Zeligate Founder and CEO, Denver Naidoo (pictured), Zelis are trained in traditional job roles with real multitasking capabilities and can be deployed in minutes, redefining AI’s role in the workplace.

“The Zeligate AI Workforce introduces a new paradigm in advanced AI technology and instantly elevates workplace efficiency and productivity,” Naidoo said.

“We provide the fastest, cheapest and easiest way to bring the benefits of AI into any business.

“Unlike ChatGPT or Perplexity, which provide input-based answers, or ‘wrappers and bots’ that only handle single tasks, Zelis perform entire tasks like interviewing candidates, taking notes, summarising conversations or signing on new customers,” Naidoo added.

The Zeligate AI Workforce is designed to provide substantial benefits across a variety of business functions. At launch, two Zelis are available – a Hiring Assistant and a Personal Assistant – with a Customer Service Assistant to be added before the end of the year.

Requiring no up-front development costs or technical skills, the ‘out-of-the-box’ Zelis instantly provide organisations a team of AI workers that automate repetitive tasks, streamline processes, and work without breaks, leading to higher output and faster turnaround times.

Importantly, Zeligate’s AI Workforce is fully secured using industry standards, which ensures individual business data stays with the organisation.

According to Atlassian’s State of Teams Report 2024, 63% of knowledge workers and 79% of executives acknowledge the importance of AI, but many struggle to understand how to integrate it into their daily tasks.

“We’re addressing the key challenge highlighted by Atlassian’s research by eliminating the pain point of implementing AI,” continued Naidoo.

“With Zelis, organisations have an AI workforce in critical areas of the business and can immediately enjoy its productivity gains without having to invest tens of thousands of dollars in people and technology.

“From the moment a Zeli is deployed, employees cut time-consuming tasks so they can focus their efforts on more important work.

“As large enterprises continue to invest heavily in AI, it can be expensive and take time to implement. Instead, we provide a far more affordable advanced GenAI solution and drastically reduce the number of individual applications and monthly subscriptions businesses may currently be spending thousands on.”

Zeligate provides multi-tasking capabilities far beyond simple query-based systems, with each Zeli accessible through a browser with minimal onboarding costs. Built using the combined strengths of all the large language models, including the latest ChatGPT-4o model, each Zeli will adapt to specific user needs, workflows, and business knowledge over time, ensuring ongoing improvement and reduced bias.

“We have a clear vision to transform the AI conversation and continue to expand our AI Workforce. We also provide cost-effective tiered pricing options, such as using a Zeli Hiring Assistant for less than $12 per month,” said Naidoo.

“By offering versatile, task-based AI agents, organisations can achieve unprecedented levels of efficiency and productivity. When working with Zeli, employees can use voice-to-text or text-to-task, learning from each interaction to complete tasks easily, capable of processing vast amounts of data, identifying patterns, and providing actionable insights.”

To help organisations harness the benefits of its AI Workforce, Zeligate will provide customers with short courses via its Zeli AI Business Academy.

“The Zeligate AI Workforce will enable people to simply delegate their routine administrative tasks to a team of smart Zeli AI assistants,” added Naidoo.

Zeligate’s Artificial Reality Engine (ZARE) is a proprietary system that orchestrates more than 100 services and technologies, creating a seamless AI experience. The Modular Architecture allows for rapid creation, training, and deployment of AI assistants across various business functions.
