Neat App Hub now available, going beyond video meetings to deliver greater choice and flexibility
Neat, the pioneering video technology company, have announced the next evolution of Neat App Hub, with general availability of the first wave of curated applications plus an expanding ecosystem of use cases that will be natively available on Neat devices, all found through Neat’s newly launched App Marketplace.
Neat App Hub is a groundbreaking development platform that natively brings essential apps users rely on in their daily workflows directly to Neat devices, including workplace experience, shared space collaboration, and custom web apps. The apps within App Hub are easily accessible through Neat Pulse where IT managers can centrally deploy, manage, monitor, and update these applications and their Neat device deployment.
Neat App Hub ecosystem currently includes more than two dozen providers ranging from global market leaders to specialised companies with a multitude of innovative applications that businesses rely upon daily to address workflows. Additionally, Neat is expanding its App Hub ecosystem with the Neat Developer Program, working with application providers and developer communities to foster the creation of new and innovative apps.
The first wave of app providers to address room/desk booking and digital signage on Neat Pad are rolling out to customers now. The next set of use cases, including wayfinding, visitor management, virtual receptionist, digital signage (standalone on Neat video devices), and collaboration solutions across Neat’s video device portfolio are entering beta. Custom web apps will begin beta availability in Q4 2024.
Jason MacBride, Regional Director, Neat ANZ commented, “In today’s workplaces, video devices are essential. Organisations where video is embedded into their culture are now asking, “How can we enhance collaboration even further?” Based on ANZ partner and customer feedback we anticipate strong demand for Neat App Hub as it evolves to improve collaboration workflows. We’re also eager to engage more with the DevOps community through our Neat Developer program in ANZ.”
These applications can even be shared into Microsoft Teams and Zoom meetings using Neat Share, which begins beta in Q4 2024. Neat Share enables customers to enjoy more engaging and productive collaboration sessions by bringing tools and workflows traditionally deployed at the desktop to Neat devices in shared spaces.
“Neat App Hub makes it easy to integrate the daily applications teams rely on into today’s modern workplace. It’s the continuation of our ongoing commitment to offering customers more choice and flexibility because as tools and technology progress, so do teams’ requirements,” said Hellene Garcia, VP of Emerging Technologies for Neat. “Neat App Hub is not just a static platform but a dynamic and growing ecosystem that adapts to the diverse ways teams work, ensuring Neat devices deliver value today and are primed to support the needs of our customers in the future.”
