Caroline created Solmates with her co-founder, Kelly Riley, because they wanted to reduce the amount of single-use plastic in their homes, cars, and suitcases.

“We have created this product to replace the small bottles of sunscreen, moisturiser and even some insect repellent creams that we all regularly buy,” Kelly said.

“You can now buy them in bulk and refill your Solmate before you head out the door. We have used recycled plastic so it’s given another life and doesn’t end up in landfill or in our oceans.”

“We also donate to Plastic Bank each month, a world leader in plastic clean up, and have so far funded the removal of 5,800kg of plastic waste, which is the equivalent of 290,000 water bottles.”
